Demand Planning Specialist

We are currently looking for a Demand Planning Specialist to join our Supply Chain team in Istanbul, reporting to the Demand & Supply Planning Manager. In this position, you will lead the end-to-end demand planning and forecasting activities, with a strong emphasis on improving forecast accuracy and reliability. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and Group stakeholders to convert data-driven insights into effective supply decisions. Additionally, you will support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and overall planning performance.

Main Responsibilities:

• Maintain regular interaction with sales, marketing, and trade marketing stakeholders to provide support and ensure continuous information flow
• Gather historical and forecast data (both volume and value) from sales, marketing, and trade marketing functions
• Consolidate sales and marketing inputs into a unified, standardized framework
• Train and guide business stakeholders on forecasting methodologies, tools, and best practices
• Develop a comprehensive demand plan across the full S&OP timeline, integrating trends, commercial activities, distributor insights, and analytics
• Share relevant inputs and insights with business stakeholders regarding operational plans and potential constraints
  
  

About You:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Economics, or a related field is preferred.
• Preferably min. 3 years of experience in a similar role, within the FMCG sector
• Strong communication skills and exceptional attention to detail
• Proven project management abilities
• Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills in both English and Turkish
• Advanced proficiency in SAP and MS Office applications
