Project Manager – Dublin (Hybrid / Occasional Site Visits)
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a growing team delivering high-performance Building Energy Management Systems (BEMS) across Ireland and mainland Europe.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on large-scale, technically complex projects within a collaborative and forward-thinking environment. The role offers flexibility—at times supporting senior project leads, and at others independently managing full project lifecycles.
The Role
You will lead projects from design review through to delivery and handover, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, and within budget. This role requires strong technical understanding of HVAC systems and Building Management Systems (BMS), along with excellent stakeholder and team coordination skills.
Key Responsibilities
Project & Programme Management
- Develop and maintain detailed project programmes across design, procurement, installation, and commissioning phases
- Track progress and provide regular updates against milestones
Stakeholder & Contract Management
- Maintain clear communication with stakeholders and senior management
- Provide structured weekly reports, highlighting progress, risks, and issues
Design Review & Close-Out
- Lead post-handover reviews and ensure all design requirements are achieved
- Capture lessons learned and ensure smooth project closure
Procurement & Supply Chain
- Manage procurement schedules and identify long-lead risks early
- Coordinate supply chain activities to protect project timelines
Resource & Labour Planning
- Plan and schedule on-site labour aligned with project timelines
- Coordinate resource requirements and approvals
Cost Management
- Monitor project budgets, forecasts, and cost performance
- Identify variances and escalate risks or opportunities
Commissioning & Handover
- Oversee commissioning activities and ensure seamless client handover
- Verify completion of all required documentation
Compliance & Quality Assurance
- Ensure adherence to company standards, SOPs, and regulatory requirements
- Maintain quality and safety documentation
Health & Safety
- Ensure all H&S documentation (RAMS, permits, inspections) is in place and followed
- Promote a strong safety culture across all project activities
Vendor & Issue Management
- Manage vendor performance and coordination
- Lead issue resolution, technical investigations, and corrective actions
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline
- Proven experience in project management within BMS / HVAC environments
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems (AHUs, FCUs, VAVs, LPHWS, CWS, Heat Exchangers)
- Experience with Building Management Systems (BMS)
- Familiarity with BMS platforms such as Trend, Tridium, Siemens, or similar
- Understanding of mechanical and electrical systems
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)
- Experience with MS Project and Procore
- Strong organisational, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Good understanding of Health & Safety regulations
