Sr. Azure Cloud Security Engineer

Enterprise AI Platform Security | MS Entra ID

We're engaging a senior Azure Cloud Security Engineer to validate and implement cloud security architecture across multiple Azure tenants / identity, networking, and dynamic AI workloads for one of our clients - a global leading strategy-led technology consultancy.

This is a hands-on engineering role working closely with cloud solution architect to implement and operationalise platform architecture, focusing on operational security implementation, working alongside platform architect and platform DevOps engineer to secure infrastructure supporting AI-driven applications.

What You Will Work On

Security Architecture Implementation

• Support the creation of security architecture diagrams and documentation describing identity, network, and service security controls
• Implement and validate the designed security architecture across Azure infrastructure and platform services
• Test and verify security configurations across environments
  
  
  

DevSecOps Collaboration

• Work closely with DevOps engineers to identify which security controls should be embedded directly in CI/CD pipelines
• Provide guidance on security automation for infrastructure and application deployments
• Support the implementation of security features across platform components and network connections
  
  
  

Platform Connectivity & Security

• Help implement secure network connectivity between platform components
• Secure service-to-service communication across platform services
• Support secure connections between consulting and client environments
  
  
  

Core Technical Experience

Strong experience with:

• MS Azure infrastructure security
• Identity architecture using Ms Entra ID
• Secrets management with Azure Key Vault
• VNet design, Private Endpoints and NSGs
• Container workload security
• Security logging and monitoring
  
  
  

Nice to have:

• experience securing AI / LLM platforms
• Zero-Trust architecture implementations
• Azure Defender / Sentinel / Policy
