Wallet Operations Manager

Overview:

The Wallet Operations & Blockchain Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing secure, controlled, and well-documented virtual asset wallet operations, blockchain transaction processing, settlement support, reconciliations, and operational controls for hot and cold wallets. The role ensures safe and orderly management of virtual asset movements in compliance with the Company’s custody framework, broker-dealer operating model, and VARA requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee wallet operations, including deposits, withdrawals, internal transfers, sweeps, address administration, and settlement-related transfers under approved procedures
• Validate transaction instructions, approval chains, whitelisting status, wallet addresses, network parameters, and transaction readiness before execution
• Support hot and cold wallet governance, including limits, access restrictions, dual controls, and emergency procedures
• Monitor blockchain transaction confirmations, settlement progress, failed or delayed transfers, and network anomalies, escalating issues promptly
• Perform and review wallet reconciliations against internal records, client positions, proprietary balances, and settlement records, investigating discrepancies promptly
• Maintain complete operational records, including wallet instructions, approvals, transaction hashes, settlement evidence, exception logs, and incident reports
• Collaborate with Technology and Information Security to enforce access discipline, including restricted and reviewed wallet access
• Escalate unusual transfers, address mismatches, rejected transactions, unreconciled wallet movements, suspected fraud, or security concerns immediately
• Coordinate with Trade Operations, Finance, Trading, Compliance, and counterparties to support timely and controlled settlement of virtual asset obligations
• Maintain and improve procedures, threshold controls, approval matrices, and contingency actions for wallet and blockchain operations
• Support oversight of third-party wallet infrastructure providers, blockchain analytics tools, and related vendors
• Ensure readiness for internal audit, external assurance, and regulatory inspections relating to wallet governance, transaction evidence, access logs, and operational controls

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Technology, Information Systems, Operations, or a related discipline
• Minimum 5 years of experience in wallet operations, blockchain operations, custody operations, digital asset operations, or regulated financial operations
• Strong experience with virtual asset transfers, wallet governance, reconciliations, and operational approvals
• Deep understanding of transaction handling discipline, control evidence, and escalation requirements in high-risk operational environments
• Experience with wallet infrastructure, custody tooling, and blockchain explorers or analytics tools is preferred
