Frontend Engineer

Our Interview product team is passionate about transforming the hiring process. We build products that help candidates demonstrate their skills, while saving interviewers and recruiters valuable time, ensuring companies find and hire the right people more efficiently. You’ll be working alongside a highly talented product team, comprising engineers, product managers, and designers, all committed to delivering impactful solutions that make hiring smarter and smoother.

Collaboration is key to our success. While important within and between product teams, we also work closely with customers, sales and go-to-market teams, to ensure we deliver real value, gather fast feedback and make our customers successful.

What you will do.

• Accessibility assurance - others’ careers depend on our UI. Make sure it meets the WCAG accessibility standard.
• Contributing to UX - deliver innovative features for our customers, contributing from the early UX discussions to implementation
• Product development - work closely with our Product and Design colleagues to design and develop our product, proactively propose and implement efficient frontend solutions,
• System design - design and implement frontend architecture, using and developing necessary libraries and tools, to be more flexible and scalable
• System maintenance - investigate and fix defects in the frontend part of the system, work on improving code quality
• Software development craftsmanship - help others maintain a high quality of developed software, for example by introducing modern technologies, contributing to design, reviewing code and pair programming. Enable teams to contribute to our codebase

Who you are

• You have demonstrable experience as a React (ideally with TypeScript) working for a Product-led / SaaS organisation
• You have experience working with user behaviour data and user analytics
• You are proficient in designing & developing great user interfaces and experiences behind them
• You have a good understanding of public cloud services and modes of operation (preferably AWS), Application Development and pushing products to the cloud
• You have a strong understanding of modern software development best practices like Trunk Based Development, Continuous Delivery, TDD, etc.

We would love if you have

• Experience in working with large frontend codebases
• Experience using AI assisted tooling for development
• Experience with Accessibility and modern UI development principles

Tech stack you will use daily (must have)

• Frontend: React, React Testing Library, TypeScript
• Continuous Deployment/Tools: Gitlab/GitlabCI

Here is the rest of our stack (nice to have)

• Backend: Python 3.8, Django, FastAPI
• Database: PostgreSQL, Redshift, DynamoDB
• Infrastructure: AWS (especially ECS, Lambdas, API Gateways), Terraform, Prometheus stack
