Your Role And Responsibilities

As a Platform Engineer you’ll play a key role in delivering unique client co-creation experiences to accelerate their transformation. You’ll be involved in all aspects of integrated solutions, from identifying requirements to making technical decisions that impact the business case and working with cross-functional teams to realize the full potential of our hybrid cloud and AI solutions. such as Product Management, Engineering, and Customer Success.

Your Primary Responsibilities Will Include

• Technical Expertise & Client Understanding: leverage contemporary hybrid cloud skills like AI, analytics, DevOps, DevSecOps, and more. Understand clients’ businesses deeply to tailor solutions effectively.
• Technology & Solution Communication: define and communicate IBM’s technology value, both technically and commercially. Participate in client sessions focused on various cloud technologies like Red Hat OpenShift, IBM Cloud Paks, and Kubernetes.
• Solution Architecture & Deployment Support: advise on solution architecture to align with best practices and ease deployment transitions. Work with deployment teams to ensure seamless transitions of platform assets for clients.

Bachelor's Degree

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

• Technical: experience in a cloud-related domain such as Data/Analytics, Data Science, Security, or other cloud-native, hybrid, or public-cloud technology. Proficient in at least one common cloud native programming language (Java, Python, HCL, Rust, Ansible, etc.). Practical knowledge of virtualized on-premise and cloud-based platforms
• Candidate must be a graduate no later than 2024
• Candidate must be amenable to start as soon as possible
