Data Analyst

Role Overview (Banking experience required)

The Senior Data Analyst will support the delivery of high‑quality analytics, reporting and data-driven insights across the team. The role requires strong SQL capability, the ability to work with complex data environments, and experience collaborating effectively with technical and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse, interpret and extract insights from large datasets using advanced SQL.
• Read, understand and work with complex SQL scripts, optimising or rewriting where required.
• Contribute to data and analytics initiatives, supporting business decision‑making.
• Develop, enhance and maintain data pipelines, dashboards or analytical solutions.
• Use Terraform and Python where applicable to support automation, data engineering tasks or environment configuration.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders, building strong working relationships.
• Communicate analytical findings clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Demonstrate adaptability to shifting priorities in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience and foundational knowledge in data and analytics.
• Advanced SQL capability with proven ability to work across large and complex datasets.
• Ability to interpret, maintain and improve complex SQL codebases.
• Experience with Python and Terraform (preferred).
• Strong communication skills with an ability to convey technical concepts simply.
• Proven ability to build and maintain effective working relationships.
• High level of adaptability and comfort working in rapidly changing environments.
• Banking experience preferred.
