Full-Stack Developer – Python / Django / React

Our client is a specialized organization in the public safety sector dedicated to investigating organized crime and supporting national security. The role involves joining a specialized team to develop and maintain a Django-based application designed to support critical operational requirements through innovative software components.

Responsibilities

• Develop new features for an operational application using the Django framework.
• Maintain and optimize existing software to ensure high performance and reliability.
• Build and maintain responsive user interfaces using React and modern frontend technologies.
• Translate complex operational needs and stakeholder requirements into technical specifications.
• Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and reliability through robust software design.
• Manage deployment and CI/CD processes using Docker and Docker Compose.
• Collaborate within an Agile team to deliver data-driven solutions.

Requirements

• You have 3+ years of backend development experience with Python and Django.
• You bring 3+ years of frontend development experience with React, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• You possess 3+ years of experience in data processing and management using SQL and pandas.
• You have experience with API development using REST, SOAP, and GraphQL.
• You bring knowledge of version control and DevOps tools such as Git, GitHub, GitLab, and CI/CD.
• You possess experience with containerization using Docker and Docker Compose.
• You're proactive, detail-oriented, and have strong analytical problem-solving skills.
• You are fluent in English with active knowledge of Dutch or French and at least a passive understanding of the other.

Nice to Haves

• Experience with Nginx or Apache web servers.
• Familiarity with Azure cloud platforms.
• Willingness to obtain a security clearance.
