AI Solutions Analyst

PORTWEST, a leading global manufacturer of safety wear, workwear and PPE is currently seeking applications for the position of AI Analyst in Westport on a permanent basis reporting to the CTO. Job Summary

The AI Solutions Assistant provides support to the team delivering AI-powered tools and automations using platforms such as Salesforce Agentforce, Microsoft Copilot, and ChatGPT. This role is focused on assisting with the configuration, testing, documentation, and monitoring of AI tools under guidance, with opportunities to learn and develop technical skills in a growing area.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with basic configuration tasks in AI platforms including Salesforce Agentforce, Microsoft Copilot, and ChatGPT.
• Support routine testing and help identify simple issues in AI tool performance.
• Help document processes and solutions, including configuration steps and user guides.
• Work closely with team members to understand solution requirements and assist with basic setup tasks.
• Monitor AI tools for errors or unexpected behaviour and escalate to the appropriate team members.
• Stay informed about updates to AI tools and share relevant information with the team.
• Contribute to the team’s ethical practices by following guidance related to responsible use of AI tools.
  
  

Requirements

• Degree in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Computer Science with AI focus, or a closely related field.
• 6+ months experience in a digital, IT support, or administrative role (internships and work placements welcome).
• Willingness to learn new platforms and contribute to technology solutions.
• Good organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Basic understanding of technology tools, workflows, or automation is helpful.
• Ability to follow structured processes and communicate clearly with team members.
  
  

Preferred (nice To Have)

• Exposure to Microsoft 365, Salesforce, or AI/chatbot tools.
• Interest in AI, automation, or emerging technologies.
• Familiarity with basic scripting or integration concepts is a plus.
