Role: UI/UX Designer

Location; Dublin, Ireland Weekly 2 days Hybrid

Contract: 06 Months Plus



Role Description

  • Design and prototype user interfaces for web and mobile applications using Figma.
  • Create personas through a mix of user testing and data analysis.
  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other designers to create ESB compliant user-centric designs (ESB brand, accessibility WCAG 2.1 AA, security, privacy and Gaeilge by design).
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to ensure that designs meet the needs of users.
  • Collaborate with ESB’s Digital Accelerator, Digital Factory, and business customers to define requirements.
  • Communicate design ideas to developers and business stakeholders.
  • Stay up to date on the latest design trends and best practices.
  • 7+ years of UI/UX design experience.
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in Figma design.
  • Expert understanding of auto layout, component creation, and variants in Figma design systems.
  • Experience testing designs on users using Maze journeys.
  • Strong understanding of accessible design principles.
  • Experience designing native apps.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Portfolio of work demonstrate strong design skills.
