Data Loss Prevention Engineer - ZZP Contract - 12 Months Rolling - Hybrid Randstad - ASAP Start

CBSbutler are partnering with a leading global financial services and digital payments organisation. They are executing a major strategic upgrade of their worldwide data protection and compliance programme and are seeking an experienced Data Loss Prevention Engineer to take ownership of next generation Semantic DLP solutions.

This is a high visibility contract role where you will be the subject matter expert on Microsoft Purview DLP and modern, context aware data protection across a complex, highly regulated enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure and optimise Semantic DLP policies in Microsoft Purview (Information Protection & DLP)
• Implement and manage sensitivity labels, trainable classifiers, auto labelling and advanced data classification rules
• Lead DLP policy migration, tuning, monitoring and incident response processes
• Integrate DLP controls with Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps (MDCA) for cloud data protection
• Provide expert advice on data classification strategy, regulatory compliance and risk reduction
• Collaborate closely with global security, compliance, legal and engineering teams

Essential Experience

• Strong hands on experience with Semantic DLP and Microsoft Purview DLP
• Proven track record implementing sensitivity labels, trainable classifiers and auto labelling at enterprise scale
• Deep understanding of data classification, policy optimisation and DLP incident management
• Experience in large, regulated environments

Highly Desirable

• Experience with Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps (MDCA)
• Exposure to Fortra Digital Guardian
• Background in other DLP platforms e.g. Symantec, Forcepoint, Proofpoint, Netskope, etc – especially migrations to Purview
