The Position
As part of our ongoing growth, we are looking for an experienced Scrum Master to join our team in Apeldoorn.
As a Scrum Master, your main responsibilities will include:
- Coaching and mentoring multidisciplinary, self-organizing Scrum teams in software development and engineering
- Facilitating Agile practices and Scrum ceremonies to maximize team performance and output
- Supporting the teams in requirements analysis, architecture, design, testing, validation, and product demonstrations
- Acting as a proactive facilitator, helping teams navigate changing circumstances while understanding their technical context
- Driving continuous improvement in team performance, delivery quality, and cost efficiency
- Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure smooth communication, alignment, and delivery of high-quality software
Your Profile
- Holding a Dutch passport (this role requires Dutch security clearance due to work in the defence sector, please note that only candidates who meet government eligibility requirements for this screening can be considered)
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (HBO/WO) in a technical field, with affinity for high-tech engineering
- At least 5 years of recent, relevant professional experience as a Scrum Master
- Strong knowledge of Agile principles and Scrum framework, with experience coaching and mentoring teams
- Excellent communication skills in English (Dutch is a plus)
- Understanding of software development technologies, including Java and C++
- Excellent facilitation, communication, and leadership skills
- Proactive, solution-oriented, and capable of motivating and guiding teams
- Team player with a collaborative mindset, passion and a focus on continuous improvement

- Permanent contract
