In the role of Scrum master, you will be responsible for facilitating Agile ceremonies, removing impediments, and ensuring the Scrum team adheres to Agile principles and practices. The role works closely with Product Owners, development teams, and stakeholders to enable efficient delivery and continuous improvement.

Location for this position is Romania.

Qualifications

Basic:

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 10+ years of experience with Information Technology.

Preferred

• Experience in playing the Scrum Master role for at least 5 years for a software development team that was diligently applying Scrum principles, practices, and theory.
• Good skills and knowledge of facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency.
• Knowledge of various well-documented patterns and techniques for filling in the intentional gaps left in the Scrum approach(example: Burndown technologies, various Retrospective formats, handling bugs, etc.).
• Awareness and experience with widely successful Agile techniques: User Stories, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing.
• Applicable knowledge of .Net & UI technologies like Angular 5/6.
• Validate UAT test scenarios, test cases and test data requirements with test leads.
• Works closely with project team to maintain a continuous knowledge of project status in order to identify potential issues and/or opportunities.
• Excellent communication and mentoring skill.

Responsibilities

• Guiding the team and organization on how to use Agile/Scrum practices and values to delight customers.
• Owns the scrum process & ceremonies for the team, coordinate with other scrum masters, weekly reports to the client covering capacity and sprint exit/planning,
• Assessing the Scrum Maturity of the team and organization and coaching the team to higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team and organization.
• Removing impediments or guiding the team to remove impediments by finding the right personnel to remove the impediment.
• Facilitating discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution.
• Assisting with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information.
• Supporting and educating the Product Owner, especially on grooming and maintaining the product backlog
