Project Manager

As a Project Manager, you are responsible for the end-to-end delivery of customer infrastructure solutions at client sites. You design, plan, and implement complex telecommunications setups, ensuring high-quality, cost-efficient, and timely execution.

You act as a trusted advisor to customers, translating complex requirements into practical, scalable solutions that are essential for both business and society.

Your Responsibilities

• End-to-end responsibility for planning, design, and implementation of customer installations at client locations
• Independent management of complex customer projects
• Acting as a key interface for delivering integrated and technically demanding solutions
• Conducting site visits and maintaining strong customer relationships
• Handling order processing, including inventory management, solution design, and equipment procurement
• Supporting rollouts, migrations, transformations, and phase-out projects at customer sites
• Ensuring compliance with cost, quality, and timeline targets

Must-have Skills

• Strong knowledge of access network technologies (FTTx)
• Proven experience in planning and implementing telecommunications solutions
• Solid understanding of optical transport and network architectures (Layer 1–3)
• Strong focus on cost efficiency, quality, and deadlines
• German language proficiency (C2 level)

Nice-to-have Skills

• Knowledge of French and/or English
• Experience in the telecommunications industry or within the Swisscom network
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical topics clearly
• Independent, structured working style with high ownership
• Analytical and solution-oriented mindset
• Strong team collaboration skills with internal and external stakeholders
• Assertiveness and negotiation skills
