Job Description Summary:
This job delivers complete solutions spanning all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC). It involves advising management on project-level issues, guiding junior engineers, operating with little supervision, and applying knowledge of technical best practices. In this role you will get the opportunity to work in App Experience team with skilled and high preforming engineers to deliver a world class experience for our users. You will tap into their years of delivery experience to turbo boost your learning so that you can help deliver exciting features and improvements to our Point-of-Sale App, to deliver a product that helps our merchants run their business.

Job Description:
Essential Responsibilities:

• Delivers complete solutions spanning all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) (design, implementation, testing, delivery and operations), based on definitions from more senior roles.
• Advises immediate management on project-level issues
• Guides junior engineers
• Operates with little day-to-day supervision, making technical decisions based on knowledge of internal conventions and industry best practices
• Applies knowledge of technical best practices in making decisions
  
  
  

Minimum Qualifications:

• 3+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience.

What do you need to bring

• Solid experience in Android Development, with a strong command of Kotlin and the Android SDK.
• In-depth knowledge of Jetpack Compose and Android design and development patterns to create robust, scalable, and maintainable applications.
• A user-centered design mindset, aiming to create products that are intuitive to use and impactful for customers.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools to streamline the build, test, and deployment process.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, working collaboratively across the cross-functional team to deliver value in iterations.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with an eagerness to learn from team members, share your insights, and collaborate with stakeholders outside of the team.
• Proven expertise in automated testing to ensure high-quality code for production environments.
