Data Scientist

We're hiring a Data Scientist for our client in Stockholm.

The Position

You'll be working for a fast-growing, product-led company operating in the energy markets space.

This role sits at the intersection of forecasting, statistical modelling, and real-world operational impact, where your models will directly influence trading and optimisation decisions in live market environments.

If you enjoy working with messy data, building robust forecasting systems, and applying statistical thinking to real constraints, this could be a strong fit.

What you’ll be doing

• Building and improving time-series forecasting models for energy markets
• Working end-to-end with data: inspection, cleaning, anomaly detection, and exploratory analysis
• Applying statistical reasoning to understand uncertainty and edge cases
• Selecting the right modelling approach (not just defaulting to black-box ML)
• Take ML models from experimentation through to production on AWS, owning deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement in live environments.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in Data Science
• Strong Python skills (Jupyter workflows, data exploration, modelling)
• Solid experience with forecasting / time-series modelling
• Proven experience taking ML models from experimentation to production on AWS.
• Comfortable working with real-world, imperfect datasets
• Fluent English speaker.
