I'm currently looking for an experienced Java Backend Engineer ready to take on new challenges in their career!

My client is building the new operating system (O/S) for global finance. The company is growing fast, with $400B on the platform in 2025 and $1T in 2026. They are building "unified ledgers" with massive infrastructure (currently 20 million transactions per day, ready to scale up to 50 million). If you are looking for a challenging, greenfield/sandbox environment and working alongside experienced software engineers, this might be a role for you!

Senior Java Backend Engineer – Responsibilities:

• Designing and developing scalable, high-performance financial applications;
• Leading code reviews, technical decisions, and system architecture discussions;
• Solve complex engineering challenges while maintaining coding best practices.

Senior Java Backend Engineer – Requirements:

• 6+ years of software development experience;
• Strong coding expertise in Java and frameworks like Spring, Spring Boot;
• Knowledge of SQL, MongoDB, and scalable database structures;
• Experience across the full software development lifecycle;
• Experience working with microservices and Kubernetes/Docker;

Bonus:

• Experience with blockchain and/or AI is a huge plus!

Work arrangement: Remote or Hybrid (if based in Wrocław)

Salary: $6000+ per month (VAT not applicable, international invoice) + paid holidays
