Senior Product Designer

Bolt powers frictionless experiences for retailers and customers at every step of the shopping journey—from login to checkout.

As a Senior Product Designer at Bolt, you will lead the design and strategy for the SuperApp/ Checkout product, shaping an exceptional experience for millions of users. You will collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders, playing a key role in defining the vision, executing designs, and continuously improving the SuperApp experience.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead design efforts for the SuperApp/ Checkout product, creating thoughtful, user-centered experiences
• Apply design thinking to solve complex product challenges and craft elegant, intuitive solutions
• Drive end-to-end design execution, from research and ideation to high-fidelity visuals and prototypes
• Advocate for exceptional UX across the team and the company, ensuring user needs are prioritized
• Proactively identify opportunities to improve the product and optimize the user experience
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineers, product managers, and leadership to deliver cohesive, high-quality solutions
• Work with Blitz Design System as part of your role, contributing to its maintenance and improvement to ensure consistency and efficiency across products
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• 6+ years of experience in product design, with a strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end work
• Highly comfortable working with a design system, including making occasional improvements and adding new components and patterns
• Strong UX thinking and the ability to translate complex problems into intuitive, user-friendly experiences
• Excellent visual and interaction design skills, with keen attention to detail
• Fluency in Figma
• Strong collaboration skills and experience working effectively with cross-functional teams
  
  

Nice to have

• Experience designing consumer-facing products in FinTech and/or e-commerce
• Familiarity with accessibility principles and solid understanding of WCAG guidelines
• Ability to leverage research and evidence to evaluate and improve solutions for users and cross-functional partners
• Knowledge of modern AI design tools and the ability to use them efficiently
  
  

6+ years of product design experience with a strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design work. Proficiency in Figma and design systems, strong UX and visual design skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Experience in consumer-facing products, especially in FinTech or e-commerce, and familiarity with accessibility standards are a plus.
