Job description:

JOB PURPOSE:
Provides support in analyzing, developing, and effectively implementing targeted strategies aimed at maximizing In-Country Value (ICV). This role involves active participation in the coordination of all ICV-related projects, ensuring seamless collaboration and communication between internal stakeholders, external suppliers, and the UAE Ministry, to facilitate the successful execution and alignment of these initiatives with overarching organizational objectives

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: 
ICV Strategy

•    Support in conducting in-depth analysis of EGA procurement data and market trends to develop robust strategies aimed at increasing ICV across various projects.
•    Collaborate closely with the business development and procurement teams to integrate ICV considerations from the initial planning stages.
•    Provide support in performing detailed local market analysis to identify opportunities for enhancing ICV contribution, utilizing category spend analysis techniques

Stakeholder Engagement 

•    Organize and coordinate all meetings, workshops, and engagements related to ICV projects, ensuring effective communication and participation.
•    Provide support to business development and Procurement teams in fostering collaborations with local suppliers, contractors, and other key stakeholders
•    Participate in Industry conferences to promote EGA and our ICV strategy

Reporting 
•    Monitor, measure and report on ICV performance and initiatives
•    Generate insightful data analysis and reports on ICV spend and project progress
•    Ensure compliance with internal policies related to ICV
•    Reviews and amends policies, procedures, processes, and flow diagrams for the department and complies with published procedures


System/Process Improvement 

•    Liaise with the IT department to propose and coordinate system enhancements that support ICV objectives.
•    Actively participate in and support continuous improvement projects related to ICV, aiming to streamline processes and increase efficiency

Environment, Health & Safety
•    Complies with all relevant EHS policies, procedures, and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment. 


4. QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
Minimum Qualifications:
    Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent.
Minimum Experience:
    3years’ experience in data analytics.
Skills:
    Knowledge in MS Office software (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access, and Power Point etc.)
    Good data analytical skills.
    Excellent written and communication skills.
    Problem solving skills.
    Interpersonal skills.
    Customer care skills.
    Competent in use of basic SAP, and MS Office software. 
    The job holder is expected to work under minimum supervision following instructions given and should change priorities within given guidelines.
