Acting as a trusted advisor to leadership, this professional exercises considerable autonomy in developing and implementing human resources strategies that align with organizational objectives. Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruitment processes including sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates
- Conduct thorough reference checks to verify candidate qualifications and employment history
- Extend employment offers and negotiate terms with selected candidates
- Design and deliver comprehensive new employee orientation programs
- Facilitate exit interviews to gather feedback and identify organizational improvement opportunities
- Process and document all employee status changes accurately and in a timely manner
- Lead and mentor team members in human resources functions and best practices
- Develop and implement innovative recruitment strategies to attract top talent
- Collaborate with department heads to understand staffing needs and organizational goals
- Maintain compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
- Strong interviewing and candidate assessment techniques
- Advanced knowledge of recruitment best practices and sourcing strategies
- Excellent organizational and time management capabilities
- Sound judgment and decision-making skills
- Leadership and team coordination abilities
- Conflict resolution and negotiation expertise
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving aptitude
- 5-8 years of progressive experience in human resources or related field
- Proven track record in full-cycle recruitment and talent acquisition
- Demonstrated experience conducting interviews and making hiring decisions
- Background in employee relations and change management
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
Additional Details
- Location: Arlington, VA
- Duration: 12months
- Pay Range*: $50/hr
- Weekly Schedule: 40 hours
- Job Status: Non-Exempt
