This role involves analyzing, supporting, and enhancing GIS solutions to meet organizational needs. Leveraging emerging technologies in geospatial analysis, this role will focus on real-time data integration, predictive modeling, and visualization to support next-generation infrastructure and connectivity goals. Key Accountabilities

• Develop, enhance, and support GIS applications and web services for enterprise needs.
• Conduct root cause analysis and provide timely resolutions to reported issues.
• Ensure GIS data is current, comprehensive, and reliable by implementing effective processes.
• Provide training and technical advice to staff on utilizing GIS services and promoting self-service functions.
• Identify and implement opportunities to enhance GIS services and operational efficiency.
• Develop interactive spatial web services to access and display data from various datasets.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation for GIS systems, policies, and operations.
• Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports on GIS system performance and health.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to align GIS services with project and operational requirements.
• Guide and share knowledge with colleagues and end-users to support effective GIS operations.
• Next-Gen Spatial Analysis: Harness advanced GIS analytics to provide predictive, real-time insights for strategic network expansion and proactive risk management.
• Geospatial Automation AI Integration
• Develop automated GIS workflows for urban planning, transport networks, and disaster resilience.
• Smart City and IoT Integration: Collaborate on solutions for IoT and smart city initiatives, enabling Omantel’s infrastructure to support intelligent urban planning and connected services.
• Develop and implement predictive GIS models using AI and machine learning to anticipate network demands, detect patterns, and assess future expansion areas
• Partner with network planning, IT, and business development teams to align GIS solutions with broader digital transformation goals and organizational objectives.
