Cybersecurity Engineer

Project Description

We are launching a critical initiative to achieve ISO 81001 compliance for a healthcare-focused client. ISO 81001 is a key standard in health informatics, focused on ensuring the security, integrity, and resilience of health information systems.

The project aims to align the client’s digital infrastructure with international security standards, protect sensitive healthcare data, and strengthen overall cyber resilience.

Responsibilities

• Assess existing IT infrastructure, policies, and procedures against ISO 81001 requirements
• Identify gaps, risks, and vulnerabilities impacting compliance
• Design and implement security controls aligned with ISO standards
• Develop and update security policies, procedures, and guidelines
• Conduct risk assessments and define mitigation strategies
• Support implementation of cyber resilience measures
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance integration
• Deliver security awareness sessions and training for internal teams
• Establish monitoring and auditing processes for ongoing compliance
• Define and improve incident response procedures
• Continuously refine security practices based on emerging threats

Mandatory Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, or related field
• Proven experience in cyber security, preferably in compliance-driven environments
• Experience working with ISO standards (ISO 27001, ISO 81001, etc.)
• Strong understanding of data protection and security principles
• Analytical mindset with the ability to assess complex systems
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with stakeholders

Nice to Have

• Experience in healthcare or health informatics environments
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies

Languages

• English: Upper-Intermediate / Advanced (C1)
