Head of Frontend Development


Our client are a rapidly growing Hedge Fund looking to hire their next Head of Frontend Development to spearhead change across the business.


Responsibilities:

  • Partner with portfolio managers and strategists to drive new products the business
  • Be involved in architecture from design to completion
  • Working with quantitative developers to deliver robust and efficient system architectures
  • Steer and ensure the technical architecture for the products delivered are sound


Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years proven experience in Front-End Development, with expertise in Typescript and React with demonstrated capabilities of managing a team
  • Exposure to JavaScript charting/visualisation libraries
  • Testing React apps using Storybook and MSW
  • Exposure to building desktop apps with Electron


Location: Dubai/Abu Dhabi
