Role Overview

Our client is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Frontend) to join the team responsible for building the patient-facing product experience.

This role focuses on designing and delivering high-quality mobile and web interfaces that guide users through their healthcare journey, from onboarding and treatment eligibility to prescription fulfillment and ongoing care.

The ideal candidate is highly product-minded and deeply invested in user experience. You will partner closely with product managers and designers to identify friction points in the user journey and translate them into intuitive, high-performance interfaces.

Rather than simply implementing features, this engineer will play a key role in shaping the product experience and frontend architecture as the platform continues to scale.

What You’ll Work On

Build and maintain high-quality frontend applications powering the company’s patient-facing mobile and web experience.

Develop intuitive user flows that guide patients through onboarding, eligibility, treatment selection, and medication delivery.

Identify and resolve UX friction points across the product journey to improve engagement, conversion, and retention.

Partner closely with product and design teams to translate user needs into elegant technical solutions.

Contribute to frontend architecture and establish scalable UI patterns across the application.

Ensure high performance and responsiveness across mobile and web platforms.

Mentor engineers and help establish frontend best practices and design system standards.

Technical Environment

The frontend team works within a modern cross-platform environment designed to maximize velocity while maintaining a consistent user experience.

Key Technologies Include

React Native supporting both mobile and web applications

Cross-platform development using React Native Web

Modern frontend development practices focused on performance, accessibility, and maintainability

Engineers collaborate closely with product and design teams and are encouraged to prototype and iterate rapidly in code.

What We’re Looking For

6+ years of professional software engineering experience with a strong focus on frontend or mobile development.

Deep experience with React Native and the broader React ecosystem.

Strong understanding of cross-platform mobile development and performance optimization.

Experience building scalable, maintainable frontend architectures.

Strong product mindset with an obsession for improving user experience.

Ability to collaborate closely with product managers and designers to shape feature direction.

Experience mentoring engineers and contributing to engineering standards and best practices.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience building consumer-facing products at scale.

Familiarity with cross-platform mobile frameworks and mobile performance optimization.

Experience Working In Health-tech Or Other Regulated Environments.

Experience building design systems or shared UI component libraries.
