Job Description

What does it feel like to be a Network Administrator in Netcompany?

As a Network Administrator, You Will

• Ensure the operation of network telecommunications and computer infrastructure to meet the organisation’s communication needs.
• Operate and manage network components.
• Investigate, diagnose, and resolve network issues.
• Monitor network performance and security to meet agreed service level standards.
• Use network management tools to analyse network load and performance statistics.
• Identify and address network traffic bottlenecks.
• Install and upgrade network components and monitoring solutions.
• Test and validate system upgrades.
  
  

Qualifications

What would make you a fit for the role:

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong knowledge of network administration and communication protocols (WAN, WLAN, VLAN, etc.).
• Knowledge of network security, VPN implementation, and encryption techniques.
• Experience operating network devices and services, including routers, switches, load balancers, firewalls, and cryptographic devices.
• Knowledge of network monitoring tools.
• Relevant technical certifications, such as:
• CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, CCDE, or CCAr.
• BIG-IP Certified Administrator and/or BIG-IP LTM Specialist certifications.
• SANS certification related to Network Security.
• Fluency in English.
