Working Student: Computer Vision (Python)

At Twincloud, we're building a modern 3D processing pipeline and are looking for someone who's excited to solve real technical problems — close to the product, close to the team. We have joined the Fraunhofer Deeptech Accelerator, so you'll officially be employed at Fraunhofer, but working on our product (both great for your CV)

• You'll develop and improve our 3D splatting/processing pipeline — processing, adaptation, and optimization


• You'll tune parameters and evaluate quality and performance using benchmarks, metrics, and reproducibility


• You'll develop and test new approaches, e.g. for pre-/postprocessing, stability, and speed-ups


• You'll conduct on-site software and hardware tests: verifying setups, validating data pipelines, reproducing bugs

• You're currently enrolled at a Berlin university (Bachelor's or Master's) in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Robotics/CG, or a related field


• studying in Berlin is a requirement


• You have strong Python skills; experience with NumPy, PyTorch, or similar is a plus


• You're interested in 3D/computer vision (point clouds, rendering, reconstruction) — prior experience is welcome but not required


• You bring a hands-on mindset: strong at debugging, you document cleanly, experiment in a structured way, and communicate results clearly


• You communicate confidently in English — German is not required


• Familiarity with AI tools like Claude Code is a plus
