Java Engineer

We are looking for an Amsterdam based Java Engineer to join our QC team. The QC team builds and maintains the internal platform used to review music content — validating it against style guidelines, copyright standards, and fraudulent content policies. You'll be a core developer on this tool, shaping the experience for the reviewers who use it every day.

Technical Skills

• Proficient in Java and Spring Boot, MariaDB
• Knows about Cache Mechanisms and Redis
• Good practices with observability and performance
• Extensive knowledge about Apache Kafka or streaming services
• Solid experience with API and data pipelines
• Experience about high scalable distributed systems and Kubernetes
• Strong debugging and problem solving skills
• Ability to contribute to and grow into leading technical projects, including architectural designs from kickoff to production
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools (GitHub Actions preferred)
• Strong foundation in software development principles, including design patterns and testing strategies (unit, integration and e2e testing)
• Nice to have React/Javascript experience
