Senior C & Java Developer- Romania

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior C & Java Developer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in both C and Java programming, a deep understanding of software architecture, and the ability to design, develop, and maintain high-performance applications.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using C and Java
• Analyze system requirements and translate them into technical specifications
• Optimize performance-critical components, especially in C-based systems
• Develop robust backend services and APIs using Java
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (QA, DevOps, Product)
• Participate in code reviews and ensure high coding standards
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software
• Contribute to system architecture and technical decision-making
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong proficiency in C (C99/C11) and Java (Java 8+)
• Experience with multithreading, concurrency, and memory management
• Solid understanding of data structures and algorithms
• Experience with Linux/Unix environments
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)

• Experience with embedded systems or low-level programming (C)
• Knowledge of JVM internals and performance tuning
• Experience with frameworks such as Spring / Spring Boot
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of database systems (SQL/NoSQL)
