Scaler is a sustainability data platform built for the real estate industry. We give real estate managers and investors the data they need to protect asset value, meet reporting obligations, and reduce long-term risk. Our product is data-heavy, increasingly built on LLMs, and operates in a domain where data errors carry real financial consequences.

The role

We're looking for a senior fullstack engineer who builds AI-powered features in production. You'll own significant parts of the product end to end, from system design to the final interface, working directly with data scientists and product designers to turn complex data into tools clients actually use.

You'll also help raise the technical bar across the team through code reviews, architecture input, and engineering standards that keep the codebase clean as we grow.

What You'll Do

• Design and ship full-stack features across a data-intensive platform used by real estate investment teams
• Build and maintain features that put LLMs to work in production, including RAG pipelines, LLM integrations, guardrails, and evaluation frameworks
• Own the production deployment of machine learning models, from handoff with data scientists through to the live environment
• Lead architectural decisions for backend systems built to handle continued growth in data volume and client load
• Set engineering standards across code reviews, testing, monitoring, and observability
• Work closely with designers and data scientists to translate complex requirements into clean, performant interfaces
  
  

What You'll Bring

• Minimum 5 years of fullstack engineering experience with a track record of shipping production systems
• Deep experience in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript with strong command of CSS
• Production experience with LLM integration, including prompt engineering, RAG pipelines, function calling, evals, or guardrails
• Experience with one or more: FastAPI, Laravel, Vue.js, Tailwind CSS, ECharts
• Proven ability to work with large, complex datasets and build systems that surface them clearly
• Experience with web metrics, monitoring, and observability tooling
• Strong fundamentals in data structures and algorithms, applied to real engineering constraints
• Works well in a small, fast-moving team and owns outcomes, not just tickets

Compensation Range: €75K - €100K
