  • As a Senior Service Designer, you will be expected to demonstrate proficiency across a range of foundational and discipline-specific skills:
  • Collaboration: Work effectively and collaboratively within and across teams, contributing significantly to group efforts and achieving identified objectives.
  • Decision Making and Prioritization: Think analytically, anticipate the consequences of design decisions, make informed trade-offs, and prioritize tasks to achieve strategic goals and meet deadlines.
  • Problem Solving: Generate feasible and efficient solutions to complex business and technical problems, fostering a collaborative approach to finding optimal paths forward.
  • Sense Making: Synthesize complex qualitative and quantitative information, extract meaningful patterns, and present conclusions through clear insights, frameworks, and visualizations.
  • Conceptual Thinking: Navigate complex information, identify key issues, perceive unseen patterns, deduce connections, and articulate abstract knowledge into tangible ideas and thoughts, especially for non-tangible products.
  • Facilitation: Expertly facilitate working sessions and discussions, guiding, mentoring, and leading participants through learning processes, planning, and decision-making, particularly when dealing with abstract concepts.
  • Project Management: Identify project requirements, break down large initiatives into manageable tasks, and create comprehensive plans for deliverables and milestones.
  • Systems Thinking: Identify, analyze, and evaluate relationships among system parts, building a holistic view of complex systems using appropriate tools and frameworks.
  • Business Thinking: Possess a the capacity to understand the business context of client, how design relates to our broader organizational goals, and effectively connect with business stakeholders.


Specific Requirements for this engagement:

  • Visualization of Complex Systems: Exceptional ability to visualize and communicate complex systems, algorithms, and data flows that lack a traditional user interface.
  • Organizational Awareness: A strong understanding of organizational strategy and the ability to adapt to complex organizational structures to drive design initiatives.
  • Experience with less tangible Products: Proven experience designing for products primarily based on systems, algorithms, and data rules, where the user interface is minimal or non-existent.
