Senior Frontend Developer (React/Next.js) – Contractor

We are looking for an experienced Senior Frontend Developer with strong skills in React.js and Next.js to join our client, a reputable digital transformation and product agency, on a 6-month contract (inside IR35) with the potential for extension.

You'll be joining a dynamic development team in the early stages of a large-scale digital transformation project for a major UK-based health and wellbeing business. This project is a key priority for the business, and you will be solely focused on delivering the frontend of the platform while leveraging APIs and working with a headless CMS.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain the frontend architecture using React.js and Next.js
• Work with APIs and integrate data from the backend services
• Collaborate with designers, backend developers, and stakeholders to deliver a seamless user experience
• Use your experience with headless CMS systems to deliver scalable and efficient solutions
• Hit the ground running, contributing from day one in a fast-paced, focused environment

Requirements:

• Extensive experience in React.js and Next.js
• Node
• Proven track record of working with APIs and headless CMS platforms
• Strong understanding of modern frontend development and best practices
• Ability to work autonomously, solve problems, and communicate effectively within a collaborative team
• Previous experience in large-scale digital transformation projects is highly desirable
• Must be eligible to work inside IR35
