ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM:  

SITA enhances sustainability and efficiency in flight operations, air traffic management, and aircraft maintenance by fostering collaboration in the air transport industry. This is achieved through global communication, transforming aircraft data into actionable insights, and providing user-friendly tools to optimize operations. 

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Assist with technical design, development and maintenance of applications and systems using existing and emerging technology Platforms.
• Adherence to the development coding practices, guidelines and all technical processes and ensures they are followed to deliver high quality software.
• Participate in documenting test cases for current and future QA.

EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Application Development, or a related field.
• Proven Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Technical writing skill and good communication skills.
• Creative thinker able to resolve complex issues.
• Any past experience in Billing Application development domain is desirable.
• Attention to detail, working in an environment where precision and accuracy is required.
• Good organizational skills, ability to multi-task with good management skills.
• Aware of Agile methodology and has passion for software and technology.
• Tools/Technologies:
  • J2EE/JAVA 8 and up, Spring (Core, Spring JDBC), JPA, EJB, JDBC, JMS, Apache POI
  • REST (Jersey) services, WebLogic, Apache Tomcat
  • RDBMS - Oracle, Postgres SQL
  • Scripting - Perl, Python and Bash
  • Tools - Eclipse, ANT, Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence
