Job Title: Senior WordPress Developer

Timezone: EST

Working Hours: 9 am - 6 pm, Monday to Friday

Role Description

One of our clients is looking for a highly skilled Senior WordPress Developer with strong experience in development and customization. The ideal candidate can independently build, customize, and maintain websites, create custom plugins, and deliver clean, reliable code. Experience with WooCommerce, Shopify, and modern frameworks like Vue or React is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and customize WordPress websites (themes, ACF, backend settings).
• Build custom WordPress plugins and integrations.
• Write clean frontend code using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, SASS/LESS.
• Customize WooCommerce and perform basic Shopify edits.
• Troubleshoot issues and optimize website performance.
• Collaborate with the team to implement new features and improvements.

Must-Have Qualifications

• Ability to advise on best practices and architecture (consultant level) and lead projects.
• Strong PHP development experience.
• Deep experience with WordPress: Custom themes, Custom plugins, ACF, Backend configurations.
• Solid frontend skills: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, SASS/LESS.
• Experience with WooCommerce and Shopify customization.
• Good problem-solving and debugging skills.

Nice-to-Have

• Laravel experience is a bonus.
• Experience with Vue.js or React.
