Position Summary

Haventree Bank is looking for a skilled front-end software engineer to design and build amazing web experiences for our customers. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality responsive web experience as well as participating in technical discussions. You will be expected to own full-cycle frontend software development, advising on technical design, reviewing code, and implementing best practices across the team. You'll consider testability, upgradeability, scalability, and observability throughout the development process.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-performance web applications using React, ensuring scalability and security.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define and implement new features.
• Pair programming with engineers on the team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing and deployment.
• Deep knowledge of APIs to collaborate effectively with server-side engineers and contribute to API design discussions
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring the stability and reliability of our applications.
  
  

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of professional software development experience, with strong focus on React, Typescript, CSS3, HTML5, NextJS
• Proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model.
• Experience with state management, test framework, and DevOps pipelines.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.
  
  

Nice to Have

• Experience with Storybook, MUI, Atomic Design, Tailwind
• Experience on implementing Backend for Frontend (BFF) design
• Start-up experience as an added plus
