Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and management of complex network infrastructures. The role involves strategic planning, advanced troubleshooting, and mentoring junior engineers while ensuring high performance, security, and scalability of the network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Architect, design, and implement enterprise-level network solutions (LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, cloud networks)
  • Lead network infrastructure projects and upgrades
  • Configure and manage advanced routing and switching (BGP, OSPF, MPLS)
  • Oversee network security including firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs
  • Perform root cause analysis for critical network issues
  • Ensure network high availability and disaster recovery planning
  • Automate network tasks using scripting (Python, Ansible, etc.)
  • Monitor performance using enterprise tools and optimize accordingly
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (cloud, security, DevOps)
  • Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical training sessions
  • Maintain detailed network documentation and compliance standards
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • 5–10+ years of experience in networking roles
  • Strong expertise in TCP/IP, subnetting, VLANs, NAT, QoS
  • Deep knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP)
  • Experience with enterprise hardware (Cisco, Juniper, Arista)
  • Hands-on experience with firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA)
  • Knowledge of cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Experience with network automation and scripting
  • Familiarity with virtualization and SDN technologies
Preferred Certifications
  • Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE)
  • AWS Certified Advanced Networking
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
  • Juniper Networks Certification Program (JNCP)
Leadership & Soft Skills
  • Strong leadership and mentoring ability
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Effective communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Project management and organizational skills
Experience Level
  • 5–10+ years in networking roles
  • Prior experience in leading projects or teams is preferred
Nice to Have
  • Experience with SD-WAN and network automation frameworks
  • Exposure to DevOps practices and tools
  • Knowledge of compliance standards (ISO, SOC2, etc.)
