Senior Firmware Engineer (Power Supply)

THE COMPANY
Our Client is a renowned organisation in the Semiconductor industry with a strong presence worldwide. They are looking for a Senior Firmware Engineer as part of their expansion plans in Singapore, reporting to the R&D Engineering Manager.

THE ROLE
The Senior Firmware Engineer is responsible for:

• Partner Design, implement, and optimize embedded firmware in C/C++ for power supply solutions.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate firmware with AC-DC and DC-DC converters.
• Develop control algorithms for voltage regulation, current limiting, and fault protection.
• Conduct debugging, validation, and performance tuning of firmware on target hardware.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in embedded firmware development using C/C++ for SMPS or power supplies.
• Strong knowledge of microcontrollers, DSPs, and real-time operating systems.
• Familiarity with digital control techniques, PWM, and feedback systems.
