FRONT END DEVELOPER

Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Front End Developer for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in Ukraine. Our client is a technology company that provides digital solutions to the utilities, industrial wire supply, and installation industries.

Description Of Project

Develop front-end features for the client’s platform. Develop new features, modify existing features, and refactor the codebase to maintain standards.
Create tests and test frameworks for features.

Team structure: work closely with CTO (backend engineering) and VP of Product. Report to CTO.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in front-end development.
Strong experience with React and Next.js.
Solid understanding of REST API integration and client-server communication.
Familiarity with version control and CI/CD practices, including GitHub and CircleCI.

Responsibilities

Analyze and clarify development tasks assigned through Jira.
Provide accurate effort estimates and implementation timelines.
Develop and deliver UI features in accordance with Jira requirements and acceptance criteria.
Communicate task progress, risks, and blockers in a timely and transparent manner.
Write and maintain tests to ensure feature quality and reliability.
Refactor and improve existing code to enhance maintainability, performance, and scalability.
Keep project dependencies up to date, including library upgrades and bug and security fixes.
