Mobile Apps Developer

DWS is seeking an experienced Mobile App Developer to join a high-profile digital delivery initiative within a large, complex enterprise environment.
This role will focus on designing, building, and enhancing modern mobile applications that deliver intuitive, secure, and high-performing user experiences across iOS and Android platforms using React Native.
  
You will work as part of a collaborative Agile delivery team, contributing to solution design, development, integration, and continuous improvement of mobile applications that support critical customer-facing services.
  

Where: Sydney, NSW - Parramatta & Macquarie Park (working across both sites)

Length: 8 months, until end of 2026
Style: Hybrid; 3+ days onsite
Salary: Up to $180K (inc super)
  

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Strong hands-on experience developing mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms
• Very strong knowledge of React Native and modern JavaScript / TypeScript frameworks
• Experience building cross-platform mobile applications using React Native; Expo experience is advantageous
• Significant experience integrating mobile applications with backend services using REST APIs and Swagger / OpenAPI
• Strong understanding of mobile application architecture, performance, and maintainability
• Experience working closely with UI/UX designers to implement accessible and intuitive user interfaces
• Solid understanding of mobile security, authentication, and API integration patterns
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments, including sprint planning and backlog refinement
• Ability to contribute to technical documentation, solution design, and functional specifications
• Exposure to large-scale enterprise or government environments is highly regarded
