WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Deluge is looking for a freelance Product & Packaging Designer (Cosmetics & lifestyle), based in Belgium, who can combine product development with strong creative execution. You will play a key role in bringing new products to life, from concept to final design.

We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced start-up environment, where you can bring structure to a dynamic and sometimes chaotic setting, while keeping a strong sense of creativity and ownership.

Work from home is possible, as long as you deliver high-quality results and meet agreed deadlines.

WHAT DO WE EXPECT FROM YOU?

• You have experience in cosmetic product development and packaging design
• You are able to translate a brand identity into products and packaging
• You have a strong eye for aesthetics, materials, and detail
• You are familiar with formulations, packaging components, and suppliers
• Experience with textiles, accessories, or lifestyle products (gadgets) is a strong plus
• You are hands-on, proactive, and solution-oriented
• You can create structure, manage multiple projects, and handle timelines independently in a fast-paced environment
• You stay on top of trends within beauty, lifestyle, and design
• You communicate clearly and work well with different stakeholders
• You are fluent in English/Dutch

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

• Develop new products from idea to launch (formulas, textures, concepts)
• Design and oversee packaging (structure + graphics) in line with the brand identity
• Collaborate with founders, suppliers, formulators, and partners
• Source and propose innovative materials, components, and finishes
• Ensure consistency across product, packaging, and overall brand experience
• Follow up on sampling, testing, and production processes
• Monitor trends, competitors, and new opportunities within the market
• Contribute to the creative direction and storytelling of new launches
