Data Scientist / Bioinformatics Analyst

Location: Dublin, Ireland (hybrid)

We’re working with a high-growth, venture-backed AI-driven life sciences company building advanced data platforms to support drug discovery and translational research.

They are looking to hire a Junior Data Scientist / Bioinformatics Analyst to join their Dublin-based team, supporting the development of machine learning models and data pipelines across large-scale biological datasets.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone early in their career (post-degree), looking to work at the intersection of AI, omics data, and immunology within a fast-paced, high-impact environment.

The Role

• Support analysis of large-scale biological datasets (e.g. genomics, transcriptomics, multi-omics)
• Contribute to data processing, cleaning, and pipeline development
• Work alongside senior data scientists and engineers to build and validate models
• Assist in extracting insights from immunology-focused datasets
• Collaborate cross-functionally with research and engineering teams

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Data Science, or similar
• Exposure to biological datasets (genomics, omics, or related)
• Basic programming experience (Python and/or R)
• Strong interest in applying data science to life sciences / drug discovery
• Comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-moving environment

Nice to Have

• Any exposure to immunology datasets or research
• Experience working with real-world biological data (academic or internship)
• Familiarity with machine learning concepts
