We are now looking for a Java Developer willing to accept new challenges in our Closer team in a hybrid project based in Porto.

💻 Senior Java Developer

📍 Porto, Portugal (Hybrid – 2 days/week onsite)

🎯 What You’ll Do

• Monitor and follow up on the resolution of production incidents, ensuring timely and effective handling by development partners
• Validate the quality and compliance of deliverables provided by external partners
• Manage and track production anomalies, ensuring proper resolution and root cause analysis
• Ensure the maintenance and reliability of non-production environments (integration, testing, staging)
• Participate in technical design discussions and oversee development activities
• Contribute to preventive maintenance and actively participate in the selection of application solutions
• Monitor and support project phases within agile squads
• Actively participate in agile ceremonies (Daily, Sprint Planning, Review, Retrospective)
• Provide technical support to platform integrators and production operators
• Produce high-quality technical documentation and knowledge materials
• Contribute to functional and technical specifications following internal architecture guidelines
• Support and contribute to security and cybersecurity initiatives
• Challenge existing solutions and proactively propose improvements and innovations

🧠 Tech Stack You’ll Play With

• Strong experience in Java and Spring-based web applications
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Good understanding of HTTP, HTTPS, SSL/TLS protocols
• Experience with CI/CD practices and toolsGit, Maven, Jenkins, SonarQube, Nexus/Artifactory
• Experience with continuous deployment tools (e.g., Jenkins, Ansible)
• Interest or exposure to security and cybersecurity topics

Languages

• English: Fluent
• French: Nice to have 🇫🇷
