Director of Product Design (Fintech)

My client is a leading fintech start up and currently hiring for an exciting Director of Product Design to be based in Singapore.

This is a key leadership position that will be responsible for driving the product innovation, design and user experience strategy and execution to create exceptional user exceptional user experiences. This individual will lead a diverse team of product designers, researchers.

Responsibilities include:

• Execute on the the design and user experience strategy to enhance customer satisfaction and drive business growth.
• Lead and mentor a distributed team of talented UX/UI Designers, researchers and design ops, ensuring their continuous development and growth.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and marketing, to align design and user experience goals with business objectives.
• Drive user-oriented design processes and methodologies, ensuring that user needs and preferences are at the forefront of product development.
• Oversee the creation and implementation of design guidelines, standards, and best practices to ensure and consistency quality across all products and platforms.
• Monitor and analyse user feedback, market research, and usability studies to ensure customer insights drive design decisions.

Requirements:

• 12+ years of experience in product design and design innovation with strong experience in B2C digital products.
• 4+ years of experience leading product design teams
• Proven track record of successful leadership roles in user experience design in fast paced and high-growth start-ups – Experience designing fintech and/or financial digital products would be preferred
• Extensive experience in designing and delivering exceptional user experiences across multiple platforms and devices.
• Strong understanding of user-oriented design principles, methodologies, and best practices.
• A portfolio showcasing a diverse range of successful design projects/ applications/ products including product innovations
