HR specialist – compensation and benefits analysis

The role

We are looking for an analytical HR specialist with a solid foundation of payroll delivery processes to join our team in Romania. This role supports both the local organization and the regional compensation and benefits team by contributing to assigned regulatory and/or internal reviews of payroll, compensation, and benefits processes. The role focuses on transforming raw payroll data into actionable regulatory and business insights, supporting analytics on pay equity, and optimization of benefit packages as required.

Responsabilibities

Reporting to the HR Director the main responsibilities of this role are:

  • Perform payroll and career architecture-based data analysis to support decision making for the local organization in Romania and broader area and regional teams.
  • Assist in the implementation of new payroll systems or projects in the allocated area of responsibility.
  • Perform local payroll and data sanity checks to identify trends, discrepancies, and data optimization opportunities and trigger data corrections as required.
  • Assist in developing simulations and cost projections for various compensation structures, annual compensation cycles or specific optimization projects both for in Romania and EMEA.
  • Maintain and update complex spreadsheets such as the regional Benefit & Comp files and repositories.
  • Support local benchmarking and the participation in regional Total Reward market salary surveys, including data collection validation and submission.
  • Support clear and timely communication on compensation and benefits processes to employees, managers, social dialogue partners as appropriate ensuring transparency and trust in local practices.
  • Provide critical support during annual compensation review process, including salary increases and bonus cycles.
  • Support regional benefits administration, including renewals, vendor coordination for both insured and non-insured benefit programs.
  • Collaborate with payroll, HR generalists and cross-functional teams on compensation and benefits assessments and proposals.

Qualifications

Requirements & Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in Payroll processing and/or HR analytics in a organization operating with multiple work schedules patterns and various types of benefits
  • Proven experience working with SAP Success Factors is an advantage
  • Advanced level of using Excel
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, human resources, or a related field
  • Advanced English level
  • Critical thinking and understanding of payroll and compensation models
  • Synthesis skills and discretion regarding sensitive data
