Senior Web Software Engineer – .NET / C# / Angular

At Wolters Kluwer Scandinavia, we are transforming our flagship tax and accounting software from a legacy Windows-based monolith into a modern, modular, cloud-native platform.
We are looking for a Senior Web Software Engineer to join our team and play a key role in building and shaping Capego Web.
This is a transition role at a pivotal stage of our SaaS journey, where architectural direction, web maturity, and engineering decisions truly matter.
The Opportunity
Our current platform is primarily built in C# .NET with legacy desktop elements that are gradually being phased out.
Today we operate with monthly releases in a hybrid architecture and are moving toward a modular, Azure-based cloud-native platform.
You will join at a time where the evolution of the architecture and engineering practices is actively being shaped.
Your Impact
You will work hands-on in C# .NET within an Azure environment, helping us transition from a desktop-heavy architecture toward scalable web and cloud solutions.
Your work will include:
The remaining time will involve collaboration, design discussions, and knowledge sharing with the team.

- Supporting the transition from a hybrid desktop/web architecture to a modular SaaS platform
- Collaborating closely with the technical lead and architects
- Contributing to design discussions and engineering improvements

- TypeScript and JavaScript

Modern Development Stack
- Solid experience with C# and .NET
- Experience with Angular
- Strong knowledge of TypeScript and JavaScript
Experience using AI-assisted coding tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude Code is considered a plus.

- Experience modernizing legacy codebases (e.g. Delphi, Pascal, older .NET versions)
