Main responsibilities

• Cloud Infrastructure Management: Design, deploy, and support scalable AWS environments using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) methodologies.
• Kubernetes Administration: Manage and fine-tune Kubernetes clusters to ensure optimal performance, availability, and security for containerized applications.
• Automation & CI/CD: Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enable efficient and reliable application delivery.
• Observability & Monitoring: Implement monitoring and observability frameworks using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and the LGTM stack to strengthen system reliability.
• Security & Compliance: Apply cloud security best practices, oversee IAM configurations, and ensure compliance with standards like SOC 2 and ISO 27001.
• Incident Response & Performance Optimization: Investigate and resolve system issues, perform root cause analysis, and enhance overall system performance.
• Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing: Work closely with engineering, architecture, and security teams to encourage DevOps best practices and knowledge exchange.
• Disaster Recovery & Reliability Engineering: Establish and maintain backup and failover solutions to ensure continuity during system outages.

Requirements

• 5 years experience in a SRE position
• Experience with DevOps methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and GitOps practices.
• Strong expertise in AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, VPC, IAM, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (EKS, K3s, or self-managed clusters).
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or similar.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible).
• Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, etc.).
• Strong understanding of networking concepts (VPC, Load Balancers, DNS, Firewalls).
• Familiarity with serverless architectures and event-driven computing.
• Actively look for opportunities to improve the availability and performance of the system by applying the learnings from monitoring and observation
