NETWORK ENGINEER

Take2 Consulting is seeking a Network Engineer to support a federal client with LAN and Wi-Fi monitoring, troubleshooting, and operational support.

This role provides Tier 2 support for enterprise networking incidents and requires strong Layer 1 and Layer 2 troubleshooting experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Troubleshoot LAN and Wi-Fi connectivity issues including switches, routers, and cabling

Resolve incidents and service requests through ServiceNow

Provide Tier 2 escalation support for LAN-related incidents

Collaborate with Tier 1 and Tier 3 teams

Document troubleshooting steps and solutions

Participate in on-call rotation and after-hours support

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

3–7 years of relevant network engineering/support experience

Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, and STP

Experience with Cisco Meraki, Aruba, Juniper Mist, and Fortinet

Experience with ServiceNow

Strong communication and documentation skills

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to obtain a Position of Public Trust

Must have resided in the US for the last 5 years
