Senior DevOps (Build) Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with strong experience in CI/CD pipelines and game build automation. This role focuses on designing scalable build systems, automating complex workflows across multiple platforms, and maintaining robust development environments for game production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipelines, including migration from Jenkins
• Manage and optimize self-hosted runners across Windows, macOS, and Linux
• Automate Unity, Unreal, and iOS build processes
• Maintain stable, consistent cross-platform build environments
• Monitor and optimize system performance, including disk space and cache cleanup
• Troubleshoot pipeline and build issues to ensure reliable delivery
• Manage Unity Package Manager (UPM) packages and private registry
• Collaborate with teams to improve automation, efficiency, and developer workflows

Requirements:

• Proven experience with GitLab CI/CD and pipeline configuration from scratch
• Hands-on experience managing CI/CD runners across multiple operating systems
• Strong background in migrating CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins to GitLab)
• Experience with Unity and/or Unreal Engine build automation
• Proficiency in scripting (C#, Bash, PowerShell, or similar)
• Experience with macOS-based iOS build pipelines and code signing
• Solid understanding of build environments and dependency management across platforms

Nice to Have

• Experience in game development pipelines or 3D asset-heavy environments
• Familiarity with GitLab Package Registry or similar artifact/package systems
• Knowledge of performance optimization for build systems
• Experience with infrastructure automation or configuration management tools
