SENIOR UI/UX DESIGNER

Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Senior UI/UX Designer for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in Ukraine. Our client is a leading public safety technology company. The company offers a unified, cloud-native platform that supports every aspect of public safety operations. Its integrated suite of products enables agencies to share data seamlessly, respond faster, and operate with greater transparency and accountability.

You will lead a UI/UX improvement initiative for an existing B2B web platform. The product requires fast, high‑quality improvements around usability, card design, and overall user experience. The focus is on redesigning and enhancing an existing desktop/web application, improving UX flows, visual clarity, and usability across a dashboard-style commercial platform. Figma will be your primary design and collaboration tool. You will work closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to turn business and user needs into clear, implementation-ready design solutions.

Requirements

5+ years of professional experience in UI/UX design for digital products.
Senior-level experience working on B2B, SaaS, or commercial platforms.
Proven experience improving existing products (UX optimization, redesigns).
Strong expertise in:
User flows and journeys;
Interaction design;
UI improvements and usability.
Advanced knowledge of Figma (components, auto layout, prototypes, design systems).
Understanding of dashboard-style or data-heavy applications.
Strong portfolio demonstrating UX problem-solving and measurable improvements.
Excellent communication and stakeholder-facing skills.
B2 level of English or higher.

Nice to Have

Experience with usability testing and research methodologies.
Knowledge of accessibility and usability standards.
Familiarity with front‑end technologies (HTML, CSS, design‑to‑code workflows).

Responsibilities

Lead UI/UX redesign and improvements for an existing B2B web application.
Analyze current UX issues and customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement.
Redesign and optimize user flows, journeys, and interaction patterns.
Improve existing UI components, layouts, and CTAs (not mobile-focused).
Create wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes using Figma.
Collaborate closely with product managers and developers to ensure feasibility and clarity.
Apply UX best practices to dashboard-style and data-heavy interfaces.
Ensure consistency, usability, and high visual quality across the platform.
Support developers during implementation to ensure design intent is preserved.
