Job Title: DevOps Engineer

Experience: 3–10+ years in DevOps / Cloud Engineering

Location: Melbourne / Canberra / Brisbane (Hybrid)

Job Type: Contract

Job Summary:

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer with strong experience in cloud-native development, infrastructure automation, and CI/CD pipelines. The role focuses on building scalable, secure, and efficient environments across cloud and hybrid platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement CI/CD pipelines and automate deployment workflows
  • Work with AWS services including Fargate, CloudWatch, and IAM to manage containerised workloads
  • Develop automation scripts using Python for orchestration and integration
  • Provision infrastructure using IaC tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and YAML
  • Manage hybrid environments using VMware vRealize Automation (vRA)
  • Implement monitoring and observability using CloudWatch, Prometheus, and Grafana
  • Integrate alerting tools such as AWS SNS and xMatters
  • Apply security best practices including RBAC, secrets management, and compliance automation
  • Support encryption, PKI, and secure communication practices
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive DevOps adoption and best practices
  • Contribute to microservices and API-driven architecture implementations


Key Requirements:

  • Strong experience in DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud-native technologies
  • Hands-on expertise with AWS and infrastructure automation tools
  • Proficiency in Python scripting
  • Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability tools
  • Understanding of security, compliance, and FinOps practices
  • Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills


Important Note:

  • Active Baseline Security Clearance is mandatory
