Product Manager

Emesent is a world leader in autonomous drone technology, LiDAR mapping, and spatial data analytics. We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to own and drive the next generation of our products.

As a Senior Product Manager, you will own the strategy and execution for one or more product lines within Emesent’s portfolio. You’ll work at the intersection of hardware, software, and autonomy defining what we build, why, and how we bring it to market. This is a high-autonomy role where you’ll set direction, make trade-offs, and drive outcomes. You’ll collaborate closely with engineering leads, commercial teams, and users to ensure our products deliver measurable value in complex, real-world environments.

What You’ll Do

• Product Strategy & Roadmap: Define the product strategy and roadmap for your area. Translate business objectives, market signals, and user needs into a clear, prioritised plan that balances near-term delivery with longer-term bets
• Customer & Market Insight: Deeply understand our users workflows, pain points, and environments. Conduct field visits, user research, and competitive analysis to ensure product decisions are grounded in real-world evidence
• Cross-Functional Leadership: Drive alignment across engineering, design, commercial, and client success teams. Drive sprint-level prioritisation within your squads and ensure the team is focused on the highest-impact work
• Go-to-Market Execution: Partner with commercial and marketing teams to develop positioning, pricing, and launch strategies. Ensure users and internal teams are well- prepared for every release
• Product Analytics: Define and monitor key product metrics. Use quantitative and qualitative data to inform decisions, measure outcomes, and continuously improve the user experience
• Stakeholder Communication: Keep leadership and cross-functional stakeholders informed with clear, concise updates on progress, risks, and strategic decisions
  
  
  
  
  

What You’ll Bring

• 5+ years of experience in product management, with demonstrated ownership of a product or product area end-to-end
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making
• Proven ability to work effectively with engineering teams and translate technical complexity into clear product direction
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence without authority across functions and seniority levels
• Entrepreneurial mindset, you thrive in ambiguous, fast-moving environments and have a strong bias for action
• Deep empathy for users and a passion for solving real-world problems in complex operating environments
• Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira, Amplitude, or similar
  
  
  
  
  

Strongly regarded

• Experience in the mining, geospatial, or survey industries
• Track record of zero-to-one product development, taking a product from concept through to launch and market traction
• Experience building or managing platform software products (APIs, SDKs, data pipelines, or developer-facing tools)
